WHO WE ARE
Founded in 1977, The National Institute of Whole Health is the founding researcher and pioneer of the Whole Health and Whole Person Healthcare movements in the United States.
Your Whole Health Has Never Been More Critical!
‘Whole Health’ has become an overused and misused term. Many have hijacked the title, but none capture the depth and transformative power of the original Whole Health model – which is not integrative medicine. Now more than ever, we remain dedicated to our mission of empowering individuals with true Whole Health tools to take charge of their health.
We offer Whole Person, Whole Health accredited programs for Medical & Health Professionals, and programs for Non-professionals and Self-Care. At NIWH, we believe that everyone, professionals & non-professionals alike, should have the tools to understand & support whole person health.
Our accredited programs are designed to empower everyone; patients, healthcare providers, caregivers & individuals with evidence-based insights and skills that can make a transformational difference in their lives.

The shift to a Whole Person perspective in healthcare started in Boston, 46 years ago, with the National Institute of Whole Health (NIWH).
Our qualified graduates use the training in their own private practice or within an established medical practice.
A specialty NPI number, an expertly prepared billing and coding manual, practice building support, professional networking, and mentoring are all available to NIWH learners and graduates from initial enrollment to graduation and beyond.
