The American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA) provides an opportunity for any duly licensed nurse professional to become a nationally certified Holistic Nurse. The National Institute of Whole Health,  Whole Health Educator for Nurses program is endorsed and approved by the American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA) and the American Holistic Nurse Credentialing Corporation (AHNCC) to meet the continuing education requirements necessary to apply for Holistic Nurse certification and Nurse Coach certification.

NIWH is an accredited provider of ANCC continuing education contact hours, and a content provider of Whole Health continuing education courses for Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing. In addition to qualifying to sit for both the Holistic Nurse and Board Certified Nurse Coach certifications, NIWH graduates can also sit for the national Chronic Care Professional (CCP) certification at a 65% discount!

How to Become a Certified Holistic Nurse

Our 3-in-1 Whole Health Educator for Nurses program provides the knowledge and competency standards for holistic nursing practice. Becoming nationally certified as a holistic nurse assures the public that the certified holistic nurse has completed all eligibility requirements to earn a credential verifying that he/she has achieved the level of knowledge and competency required for practice of holistic nursing; and recognizes nurses who have met those standards.
