Dr. Bill Croft’s background in health care, as well as education, is impressive! A respiratory health professional, Bill currently serves as the Executive Director of the North Carolina Respiratory Medicine Board. For almost 25 years he held the positions of Program Director and Department Chair for the Respiratory Therapy Program, as well as Chairman of the Health Sciences Department at Sandhills Community College, in North Carolina.

Bill has been an NIWH Academic Adviser since 2008 and is an honors graduate of the NIWH Whole Health Training, Whole Health Educator program. In addition to the many professional positions he holds, Bill is also highly accomplished as a international, national and state level AAU Weight-lifting Champion and hold 74 championship titles since 1999.

A vegetarian and practicing vegan, Bill has earned 14 “Best Lifter” awards over the past 10 years. This is a phenomenal accomplishment for any athlete, but is especially remarkable given his green living dietary choices.
