• Programs include professionally produced DVD e-learning courses as well as comprehensive, evidence-based curriculums.

• All NIWH programs include as part of the curriculum, at no additional fee, continuing education credits for health care professionals including nurses, dieticians and licensed nutritionists, certified health educators, certified personal trainers, licensed therapeutic massage therapists and body workers, certified yoga professionals, licensed social workers, chiropractors and acupuncturists.

• All NIWH graduates are enrolled as Select Providers, in Healthyways, Inc. national insurance provider network, for Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Humana, Aetna and other insurance programs. In addition, NIWH graduates can utilize the services of licensed laboratories and order Nutritional Blood Analysis from accredited labs and open professional accounts with the country's leading organic whole food supplement distributors who serve only credentialed health care professionals.

• In addition to the written and media course work, students can participate in NIWH's special events which present lectures and work shops with renowned physicians, authors and experts in the feiel dof health, nutrition and medicine.

• All students receive an assigned Academic Advisors, toll-free telephone and on-line e-mail support.

NIWH offers various programs for professional career enhancement and continuing education both in-person and through our DVD streamed distance learning format. These programs are called Tracks and include:

Track A: Whole Health Educator program - for individuals with previous training or an accredited degree in health or related majors; nutrition, fitness, psychology, science, education, public health or an accredited CAM education or training. Includes professionally accredited/approved continuing education credits for licensed health care providers.

Track B: Nurses - Whole Health Educator Program for Nurses - An Endorsed Program of the American Holistic Nurses Association and distributed by Sigma Theta Tau - the International Honor Society of Nursing and Nursing Knowledge International. NIWH is an Approved Provider of Continuing Education for Nurses by the Vermont State Nurses' Association, Inc, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
 
Track C: Certified Nutrition Educator program for individuals with an accredited degree in nutrition or nutrition related sciences, nursing, medicine, osteopathy, chiropractic, psychiatry or other licensed terminal degree. Includes professionally accredited/approved continuing education contact hours for licensed CAM health care providers.

Track D: Whole Health Coaching program - health coaching skills and health advocacy program designed for health care allied health care professionals with accredited training, education, certification or licensure in their respective specialty. Appropriate for certified personal trainers, licensed massage therapists, certified aerobic instructors, certified Life Coaches, Weight Loss professionals, certified Sports Coach, Wellness Instructors and other qualified allied health care professionals. Includes professionally accredited/approved continuing education credits for certified and licensed allied health care professionals.

Track E: Approved Continuing Education - professionally accredited/approved, individual media-based courses provide contact hours for the following health care and allied health care professionals: all nurses, dietitians, licensed nutritionists, certified health educators, certified personal and fitness trainers, therapeutic massage therapists and body workers, social workers, certified yoga instructors, licensed chiropractors and acupuncturists.

• Dual and Multi-discipline programs available. After graduating from a Whole Health program an NIWH graduate may dual or multi train in the following areas: Nutrition Educator, Health Education or Health Coaching by taking select required courses, with special tuition savings.
