For approved loans, SLM Financial will e-mail the loan documents for certification to the NESWHE registration office within four hours. NESWHE will then certify your documents, once you have registered.

SLM now has a DEFERRED PAYMENT OPTION. This option is for borrowers needing the most flexibility possible. The borrower may elect to pay only $10.00 per month, for up to 24 months, regardless of length of the program. This $10.00 per month payment will be applied to accrued interest during the deferment period. Full interest and principle payments will begin at the end of the deferment period.
