The NIWH 3-in-1 Whole Health Program® training is
accredited by the Institute for Credentialing Excellence
The National Institute of Whole Health is a 44-year-old institute that has been working with medical professionals, hospitals and national health associations, since January 1977, assisting in the transformation of health care to move towards a whole person, whole health and disease prevention focused delivery system.
We provide programs that are recognized, approved or endorsed by various medical and healthcare associations. Our Whole Health, evidence-based, integrated programs are delivered on-line, 24/7 via streamed video courses that are presented and filmed at Boston area hospitals and medical centers. Courses are provided with hard copy handouts, abstracts, assignment templates and evaluation forms.
Each learner works with an assigned academic adviser and has the opportunity to interact with live call-ins and on-line student forums. Because of the comprehensive content of our 400 hour program, NIWH Whole Health learners may, through an educational partnership with the HealthSciences Institute (HSI), test-out for the Chronic Care Professional national certification.
NIWH learners receive a special 65% discount for this test-out option. An NIWH graduate who is CCP certified may also pursue, at a special discounted fee, the national Registered Health Coach training offered through HSI.
In addition, our graduates qualify for ACA professional liability for health education counseling and can apply for an individual NPI number (National Provider Identification insurance billing and coding number) as a health and wellness educator.
The NPI can be used for Flex Spending Accounts, billing receipts and out of network services receipt submission. NIWH provides, to its 3-in-1 Whole Health Education graduates, a twice-yearly updated billing and coding manual for health education services.
Nationally approved continuing education contact hours are provided with each course for either application to a professional credentials or as a tax-deduction as a professional development and CE expense.
There are a range of program lengths and costs. We are happy to schedule a time for you to speak with one of our program representatives. You can reach the NIWH Administrative Office at 888-354-HEAL (4325).
