How to Become a Holistic Health Nurse

educator 3

To become a certified holistic health nurse, a nurse professional must qualify for and pass the national certification exam. This exam is offered through the American Holistic Nurses Association (www.ahna.org).

The National Institute of Whole Health 3-in-1 Whole Health Educator for Nurses program is endorsed and approved by the American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA) and the American Holistic Nurse Credentialing Corporation (AHNCC) to meet the continuing education requirements necessary to apply for Holistic Nurse certification. Each year
dozens of nurse professionals turn to NIWH for their Holistic Nurse exam pre-requisites.

In addition, the NIWH program qualifies the graduate to sit for the national board certified Nurse Coach certification. NIWH is an accredited provider of ANCC continuing education contact hours, thru VNSA, and a content provider of Whole Health continuing education courses for Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing.

How to Become a Holistic Health Nurse

The first step is to take a course of study that fulfills the national pre-requisites for Holistic Nurse certification. Being certified in holistic nursing establishes minimum knowledge and competency standards for holistic nursing practice and assures the public that the holistic health nurse has completed all eligibility requirements to earn a credential verifying that he/she has achieved the level of knowledge and competency required for practice of holistic nursing; and recognizes nurses who have met those standards.

An Additional Certification Program for Nurses

AHNCC has developed a board certification exam for Nurse Coaching, in addition to the national Holistic Nurse certification exam. The NIWH program for nurses qualifies graduates for both national certification exams. For more information contact us at 888-354-4325 or request more information.
