1. Does NIWH provide tuition assistance payment options? Yes. NIWH provides Interest Free Payment Plans that allows a student to determine how much per month they would like to pay and work out a payment plan to accomodate their budget. 2. Do holistic health care schools offer programs like yours in other states or anywhere else? While there are numerous holistic health care schools with programs that offer holistic healing training in nutrition, herbs, massage, acupuncture and the like, there are no other programs which train students in Whole Health Education or Whole Person Health Care as NIWH does. Our focus is on training the student to be mindfully present to their patients and/or clients, educating them in how the body, mind and spirit work together, enabling patients to take control of their own health, healing and personal fulfillment. In essence, NIWH, the pioneer of Whole Person Health Care and Whole Health Education, teaches not only the evidence-based science of healing, but also the spiritual aspects of healing - not just the mechanics! The Whole Health Education component of our programs is a model of education developed since 1977 by NIWH and is the exclusive proprietary work of The National Institute of Whole Health. As such, it is not taught, and cannot be taught, by any other natural medicine schools or programs, in part or whole, in the United States or any other country. The National Institute of Whole Health holds state and federal service marks, registered trademarks and copyrights on the entire content and format of our programs and retains all title, rights and interests in its use and in the use of materials developed by our program. No other natural medicine schools can offer you this specific format and content which is why we have developed, for students outside our geographical area, our distance learning programs to meet the growing demand for whole health training nationally and internationally. 3. What is the difference between the in-person courses and the distance-learning program? We offer the in-person special events students who wish to attend. However, all of our Whole Health programs are currently offered on-line only. 4. What prior experience or previous education is necessary to register? All of our programs are designed for individuals who have prior training, education or licensure/certification in the expansive fields of health care, allied health care or education. However, if an individual has an accredited bachelors or masters degree which does not include the required pre-requisite health related courses, they have the option of signing a waiver of understanding that they may enroll in the program but must complete the pre-requisite courses before graduation. All Whole Health programs require pre-requisite training, education, licensure or certification in a related field of health care, allied health care of education. Our curriculums are designed in an easy to follow, integrative "whole picture" model that will not only make learning exciting and fulfilling, but will also provide authentic learning beyond a “memorization and testing” experience. 5.
