I loved learning via video classes! It's such a great asset to be able to stop, rewind, and play key thoughts again. It's reassuring knowing I can repeat a class at my own convenience. The coursework is also helping me launch into new avenues for my career which I never would have imagined for myself. I can't thank you enough. It's a true work from the heart!"

This is where my training at The New England School of Whole Health Education has been such a gift. It has given me an informed perspective that I now bring to all my patient interactions. The education I received at NESWHE is like no other I have encountered and I would highly recommend it to any nurse or physician who desires a whole person, whole science education. The training also enables you to discern and understand what is valid or not valid with regard to information and research, and how to provide information in a way that isn't overwhelming or condescending. I feel that my two years at NESWHE have served both myself and my patients in a profound way and have given me the tools and information needed for my own health and wellness, as well as facilitating theirs." Educator and nurse who has been working as a Nursing Professional for

Care area of Newton-Wellesley Hospital. Denise is currently the coordinator
of the Multiple Sclerosis Clinic and the Anti-Coagulation Clinic, which
is part of the Cardio-Vascular Health Center. Denise was the first radiology
nurse at the Newton-Wellesley Hospital facility. Denise feels passionate about Whole Health Education. She says, "Whole
Health Education is a phenomenal thing! It facilitates the removal of
the blocks that patients experience in their care when they don’t
fully understand the how and why of their illness. The model of Whole
Health Education, and the relationship-building tools it provides, reinforce
for the nurse, as well as the patients, that everything in life is connected.
I've seen [Whole Health Education] remove resistance in certain patients
when nothing else seemed to work. It also improves compliance and gives
the patients an authentic sense of control over their health maintenance.
It’s an enormous tool for bringing about better communication and
enhancing the patients' ability to self-manage lifestyle choices necessary
for their recovery or wellness. I highly recommend this program to nurses."

Meaghan Nugent is a certified Whole Health Educator.
She completed a 220-hour internship with the Anchor Medical Group
practice in Illinois. Marco De aCruz, M.D., Director and Family Medicine
practitioner, feels that "having a Whole Health Educator onsite is
pivotal in creating a true integrated, whole health center for several
reasons. First, there has been an increased demand for alternative health
care among patients in the last several years. Second, given the training
received, the Whole Health Educator has the time and skills to provide
patients with information that the physician’s schedule does not
allow for. Finally, so much of integrated medicine is about educating
patients on 'the big picture of health and disease.'" Meaghan is
currently employed as a Health Educator for Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin.
